From March 1 to March 8, 2026, coinciding with International Women’s Day, we will hold the “HAPPY WOMAN FESTA 2026 HYOGO (KOBE) ~KOBE YELLOW PEARL WEEK~” at Kitano Medium and throughout the Kitano Ijinkan-gai district.
Our goal is to widely promote the image of “Kobe, the City of Pearls” both domestically and internationally. We will deliver 1,000 “pearls” to women in the Kitano-Kobe area. Holding a pearl in their hands, smiles will bloom on the women’s faces.
This will also create an opportunity to learn about Kobe’s heritage as the “Pearl City Kobe.”
*Delivery conditions: Participants must attend events at the main venue or make a purchase at a participating store in the Kitano-Kobe area.
Embed your feelings for today into this single pearl and adorn your wallet or favorite spot with it. Additionally, KitanoMedium offers workshops where you can experience pearl processing.
*Pearl processing workshops are scheduled to begin during the May Golden Week holiday.
